2017 Focus on Jesus!

There are many of God’s children who are suffering with fear, anxiety, and worry regarding our new President. I need to tell you something. The Lord told me to tell you that His heart is still with His people. Jesus is the same yesterday, today, and forever. He doesn’t change. Depend on Him.

Don't be afraid, for I am with you. Don't be discouraged, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you. I will hold you up with my victorious right hand. Isaiah 41:10

Whomever is President doesn’t stop Christ. The Lord said the Sun will always rise and set as He commands it. I asked the Lord about His thoughts on this Presidency and the scripture came to me, “"Well, then," Jesus said, "give to Caesar what belongs to Caesar, and give to God what belongs to God." Mark 12:17. The Pharisees were trying to trip Jesus up asking Him about paying taxes and this was His answer. In other words, give to Caesar what belongs to him as his face is on the coin. Even more so, give to the government what belongs to them as they are creators of the law but give to God who is creator of your soul. Obey the laws of the land but be about Your Father’s business.

There will be many changes, challenges, and troubles in this world. The Lord has said this many times.“I have told you all this so that you may have peace in me. Here on earth you will have many trials and sorrows. But take heart, because I have overcome the world.” John 16:33

You are being called to ‘Focus’ in 2017. You cannot let the troubles of the world take you off path. You cannot get off course because of all the unknowns and scare tactics. Stay on course to living in your destiny so that you meet your own purpose in God’s Kingdom. If you concentrate on your role in God’s Kingdom, you will have Victory; you will sleep at night, you will eat well, you will have your bills paid, you will have freedom, and favor will follow you.

Sometimes the Lord will show you what’s to come and He doesn’t choose sides. He chooses Jesus every time. If you’re ever confused, always look to Jesus. Set your eyes and hopes on Him. I’ve seen this election take Christians on a deep diversion; prophesying in the name of God but in the spirit of racism. They’ve prophesied from their own hearts and not the heart of Christ. They’ve even misinterpreted God’s messages. The Lord says, "they have prophesied about Trump but they haven't prophesied about My people. They've forgotten my people. I am still God of the poor, the lame, the sick, and the hungry."

Years ago, the Lord showed me that a time of darkness was coming. When I saw the vision, I was standing in a parking lot, the sky was dark, the moon turned to blood and begin to drip blood. People begin running. I got scared. I was about to run too but the Lord stopped me in my tracks and told me to not be afraid. Then women and children begin cuddling around me; holding onto me. Then they were no longer afraid. I knew then and there it was God’s promise for me to help women and children in a time of darkness. The Lord provides for His people through His promise for you. I know this time is now but do not fear.

Therefore, the Lord wants you to focus. There’s a ministry, a hope, a dream, a gift in you that the Lord will bring out this in the next year or two to steady you and help you steady His children.

There’s also a warning being given that we must be careful to not put all of our hopes in a man. This is how the Israelites cursed themselves. God wasn’t ever enough for them. The people were always looking for another savior to serve; something that could be felt with human hands. We must be careful of this. We do not need another King to crown. Jesus is King!

Focus on Jesus and get clarity on how you’re to serve Him in your gifting’s. The Lord says, “Have a seat at the table”. While everyone is at the Presidential party with all eyes on him, Jesus is looking for guests who will sit at His table and feast with Him.

We are all here for such a time as this, that we carry Intimacy through personal relationship with God. These times will challenge God’s truth as you see it. Some will not know who to follow or who to believe. The only way through this is to focus on Jesus. Get Intimacy!

Jesus is the only answer. FOCUS!
